I have a bag of photos pulled from an album. And I cannot remember where I got them. In any case, most are unnamed. There are two exceptions. The first is from the Smith & Price studio of Traverse City, in operation from 1900 to 1925. 

On the back is marked "H. C. Tripp." I wondered if it was a class photo. I remembered that Ancestry has scanned many Traverse City yearbooks (U.S., School Yearbooks, 1900-2016). I searched "Tripp" and there he was, in the 1900, Vice President of the Sophomore class.

Hervey Chester Tripp was born on 11 May 1883 in Big Rapids, Mecosta County, Michigan. He was married in 1914 to Frances Eugene Sparrow. He died on 16 January 1965 in Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon. He is buried in Ocean View Memory Gardens and Crematory in Coos Bay.
