From an Ebay seller from Brentwood, California. An unidentified woman took her dog to the McManus Brothers studio in Traverse City probably in the 1880s or 1890s.

Back of the small photo.

 She is seated next to a table with a rug draped over it. The painted backdrop is visible behind her. She wears a very heavy looking dress. Her dog is obviously interested in something nearby.

This is only the third photo I have purchased that has a dog in it. I really like it.

A photograph from an Ebay seller in Bolton, Massachusetts. The photo is from the R. B. Himes studio, which was only in operation from 1897 to 1899. Unfortunately the names of the five six men are not on the back.

Six men.

The men appear to be workers who stopped by the studio to have their portrait taken. One man is seated in a chair and on either side two other men are sitting on he chair's arms. Behind hem are three other men. Five of the six have mustaches while the better dressed man, wearing a tie, is clean shaven.
